Horror Camgirl - Ch. 34: The Ghosts Break Free
"Crazy." The four of them glanced at me disdainfully. "Get out of the way, we're going in to explore, Huang Shao wants to."
Among the four, there was a Rich Young Master dressed in designer clothes, casually holding a cigarette in his mouth, looking quite nonchalant.
I urged, "This factory is too dangerous; if you're going to come, at least wait until daytime."
"Get lost." The heavily made-up girl pushed me, and I deftly dodged her. She lost her balance and almost fell.
Infuriated, she yelled, "Huang Shao, she pushed me!"
Huang Shao and the others surrounded me. "What’s this? Is this factory your home? You can't let anyone in and then hit people?"
"You're not leaving unless you kneel down and apologize today."
"Right, quickly kneel! Bow your head to our Xiao Li a few times."
One boy in a white T-shirt raised his hand to slap me when suddenly a hand reached out from the side and grabbed his arm.
In pain, he slowly knelt down. "Let go! Let go of me!"
Tang Mingli’s cold gaze swept across the faces of the crowd. "I'll give you three minutes to get lost, or don’t blame me for being ruthless."
Huang Shao spat out his cigarette butt defiantly. "Who the hell are you? Do you know who Ao Ge is to me?"
Tang Mingli released the boy in the T-shirt and suddenly punched Huang Shao squarely in the face. The punch came with a fierce wind; if it had landed, his nasal bones would have been shattered.
An eerie silence fell.
Huang Yue’s face turned pale, sweat pouring down his forehead as he stood there, dazed for a long time.
Tang Mingli withdrew his fist and coldly ordered, "Get out, now!"
Huang Yue swallowed hard and turned to leave, with the other three quickly following.
"Huang Shao, are we really leaving like this?" the boy in the white T-shirt said, unwilling to accept it.
"Yes, Huang Shao, you made a bet with Fang Shao; you have to spend the night inside. The stake is an Audi," Xiao Li reminded him.
Huang Shao gritted his teeth. He had just gotten that Audi; if his dad found out he lost it, he would be in serious trouble and would probably never see his allowance again.
"Huang Shao." The thin boy, who had been silent, spoke up. "I know there’s a hole in the wall over there; we can sneak in through there."
Huang Shao's eyes lit up. "If he doesn't let me in, I'll go in anyway!"
At this point, Tang Mingli, Xiao Lin, and I had already entered the production workshop. Just then, a small old man quietly slipped into the factory.
This man was the assistant Wei Ran had found—Master Dong.
Unbeknownst to anyone, a tall figure in the shadows was quietly observing everyone, his gaze complex and sharp.
The machines in the workshop had long been sold off, leaving only a huge, dilapidated building. Xiao Lin said, "A few days ago, someone saw the three missing persons wandering around this workshop, seemingly searching for something. Let’s look around and see if we can find any clues."
I held a Wolf-Eye flashlight and scanned the ground. Dark, deep marks caught my eye, and I explained them to the others.
"Five years ago, a homeless man died here; it was said to be a suicide. Strangely, he had actually cut off his own head."
"Three years ago, a taxi driver died here. This area has no residents, and no one knows why he was here. The police speculate he was dropping off a passenger, but there were no traces of anyone else around."
"And here..." I suddenly paused, sensing something was off about the floor beneath my feet.
In the past, I would have ignored this feeling, but now my senses were heightened.
I bent down and gently tapped on a large bloodstain, calling out, "Come here, it's hollow underneath."
Xiao Lin and Tang Mingli quickly gathered around. They pulled out a screwdriver and pried up a tile with a loud snap.
Underneath the tile lay a bunch of keys.
These keys looked old and rusty, and I exclaimed, "Could this be what those three were looking for?"
Xiao Lin furrowed his brow. "When the government sent people to clean the factory, they found many important documents were missing. They searched the entire factory but couldn’t find them. Could it be that those documents are still here, and these are the keys to access them?"
A glint of determination flashed in his eyes. "We must find those documents."
Just then, a piercing scream echoed from deep within the factory, startling us. We immediately rushed toward the sound.
The factory was like a maze, covered in moss and rust. Just as we turned a corner, three boys rushed toward us—it was Huang Shao and his friends, their faces pale with terror. They cried out, "Ghost! There’s a ghost! Help!"
"Get behind me!" I shouted. The three immediately scrambled behind us. I charged forward, but Xiao Li was on the ground, struggling. A tremendous force was pulling her, dragging her into a pitch-black room.
By the time I reached the room, it was too late; countless pale hands reached out from the shadows, gripping Xiao Li’s legs tightly.
