Horror Camgirl - Ch. 4: The Killing Blade
Tang Mingli made a gesture for me to be quiet, and the two of us quietly walked inside, hearing a woman sobbing from within.
My heart skipped a beat. I looked inside and saw several thugs forcefully assaulting a young, beautiful nurse.
I felt my anger rising. I grabbed the Killing Blade, intending to step forward, but Tang Mingli grabbed me tightly and whispered, "What are you going to do?"
"Of course, I'm going to save her! That girl is about to be violated by them!" I exclaimed angrily.
Tang Mingli looked at me with a monstrous gaze.
Something felt off, so I said, "Am I wrong?"
"Can you... see a girl?" he asked.
"Yes." I nodded.
Tang Mingli took a deep breath and said, "But I can't see anything. I only see them struggling with the air."
I was startled and looked at the barrage on my phone.
My scalp tingled. When I looked again, the nurse was slowly turning her head, giving me a deep, profound glance.
Her skin was pale blue, her eyes completely white without pupils, and most terrifyingly, there was a deep knife wound on her face.
I was so scared that I immediately recoiled, tightly pressing against the wall. She was dressed in a nurse's uniform. Was she one of the nurses who were killed by a knife years ago?
Those thugs were the ones who tried to capture me during the day. How were they here? Were they bewitched by ghosts?
At that moment, we heard a crisp "clack-clack," sounding like an elderly person's cane hitting the ground.
I signaled Tang Mingli with a glance, and we found a hidden spot to hide.
I saw a small, thin old man walking down from upstairs, wielding a Dragon-Headed Cane, and he stopped in front of that room's door.
I whispered to Tang Mingli, "Can you see it? An old man?"
Tang Mingli's face looked unpleasant as he shook his head.
The old man's eyes were sinister, and he gave a cold laugh twice. Suddenly, the thug lying on the nurse flew backward, crashing heavily into the wall, his head smashed, bleeding profusely, and he collapsed motionless on the ground.
"Tiger Bro." The other three thugs hurriedly rushed over. One of them checked his breath and exclaimed, "Tiger Bro, Tiger Bro is dead."
At this moment, another thug screamed and flew out, crashing violently into an abandoned wire bed. The wire pierced the back of his head, killing him on the spot.
Blood flowed like flamboyant flowers.
The other two thugs, as if waking from a dream, screamed and fled desperately. As they left, they passed through the body of the Small Old Man, who turned his head, revealing a sinister smile.
Bam.
The metal gate downstairs slammed shut. The two thugs kept pounding on the door and screaming. The Small Old Man stood with his cane, slowly walking toward them.
I clenched the Killing Blade, every hair on my body standing on end.
Suddenly, the old man stopped, slowly turned around, and looked in our direction.
My heart leapt into my throat.
He found us!
The Small Old Man chuckled twice and continued walking towards the thugs. I was about to breathe a sigh of relief when I looked up and saw the nurse ghost standing right in front of me, staring straight at me.
My scalp went numb. The nurse ghost raised her pale hands and lunged toward my face. I screamed and swung my blade.
The Female Nurse Ghost let out a scream and dissipated into a wisp of green smoke. I gritted my teeth and said to Tang Mingli, "They've found us. Use that Small Old Man to attack the thugs. We need to act quickly, or we'll be dead."
Tang Mingli looked pale, "But I can't see them."
I threw the Peach Tree branch from my back to him, "The peach wood repels evil. Where i swing you stike."
The live stream room was bustling, and the donations kept increasing, but I couldn't care about that right now—my life was at stake.
As the Small Old Man lifted a thug into the air, I rushed forward in a few steps and swung my blade down on his head.
People can unleash unexpected powerful potential in life and death situations. The Small Old Man abruptly turned his head, I screamed and was thrown backward, landing among the rubble with my ribs painfully aching.
But Tang Mingli reached us. He swung the Peach Tree branch at the Small Old Man's arm, hitting it just right. The old man's arm hissed, emitting black smoke.
He glared at Tang Mingli with full resentment before disappearing.
At the same time, the main door opened with a sound.
The two thugs went madly fleeing outside. Tang Mingli came over to help me, and his hand touched my chest. I groaned with pain.
"You injured your ribs. I'll take you to the hospital." Tang Mingli hoisted me up without waiting for me to respond.
It was my first time being held like that, feeling uncomfortable and struggling a bit. Tang Mingli sternly said, "Don't move."
The corner of my mouth twitched as I realized the live stream hadn't been closed yet. I quickly took out my phone, and the barrage made me cringe.
I hurriedly ended the live stream. If Tang Mingli saw those comments, he'd probably be sick from vomiting his dinner last night.
I lay in the hospital bed for a week. Tang Mingli actually visited me every day, even bringing me chicken soup. Looking at the fragrant soup in front of me, I felt a bit lost.
No one had ever treated me so well, especially not a handsome, wealthy man.
What was Tang Mingli's true intention? I had nothing, and a sick younger brother to take care of. What was there for him to scheme?
Tang Mingli said seriously, "Get better soon so we can go together and eliminate those ghosts."
I was startled. When did I ever say I wanted to catch ghosts?
"Last time, our lives almost ended there, and you still went?" I asked in disbelief.
"I, Tang Mingli, never give up halfway."...
