Horror Camgirl - Ch. 8: Made a Lot of Money
As soon as this barrage of comments finished, the message "My libido flows with the wind" appeared, tipping the streamer five crowns.
Looking at the dense stream of gifts and rewards, this time risking life and death was really worth it.
After closing the Live Stream Room, Tang Mingli and I helped each other out of the apartment building. He looked at me with a strange gaze, making me feel very uneasy.
"Do you know ghost-catching techniques?" he asked.
I shook my head and said, "I have guidance from a master." I then told him about True Lord Zhengyang. However, True Lord Zhengyang had already gone offline. As I watched, he gave me another crown as a tip.
I felt very grateful and left him a thank-you message. Tang Mingli said, "You've encountered a master. But masters usually act high and mighty. The fact that he came to watch the live stream and graciously offered you guidance means your luck is truly extraordinary."
I happily calculated the earnings from this live stream—it was over 20,000! I used to not even make that much in a year.
Unbeknownst to me, Tang Mingli was gazing deeply at me with a somewhat complicated expression.
Tang Mingli was exhausted and couldn’t drive, so we took a taxi to the hospital for a check-up. It was just some soft tissue bruises, nothing serious.
He took a taxi to take me home, glanced deeply at my retreating figure, then turned and walked out of the block, getting into an extended Lincoln.
"Young master," the driver respectfully said, "the old man called today to ask if you've found that person."
Tang Mingli pondered for a moment, took out his phone, and dialed a number. An aged male voice came through, "Mingli, have you found her?"
"Yes, grandfather."
"Is she beautiful?"
Tang Mingli was silent. A low sigh came from the phone, "Mingli, even if she's not pretty, it doesn't matter as long as she's lucky enough."
Tang Mingli was a bit speechless. If Yuan Junyao were lucky, she wouldn't have been forced into such desperation. But if not, her luck in these ghost-catching live streams was unbelievably good.
Even a mysterious master appeared in her Live Stream Room.
Perhaps she really is a lucky star.
"Grandfather, I understand," Tang Mingli said. "I'll handle it. You don't need to worry."
After hanging up, he looked out the window, muttering to himself, "Even if she's ugly, she has a nice fragrance."
I returned home and rushed to the dressing mirror. Taking off my mask, I was overjoyed.
Originally, I had three fibromas on my chin; the last time one was removed, and this time, after inhaling two puffs of black energy, the remaining two were gone.
I touched my smooth chin, skin as white as snow, feeling as if it were being sucked, unwilling to let go.
If all my fibromas were gone, I might not be a peerless beauty, but I would at least be a charming homebody.
My demands weren't high. As long as I could look normal, I was satisfied.
I took a shower, wrapped myself in a towel, and entered the bedroom. Just as I was about to sleep, I suddenly heard a loud crash. Someone had kicked open my front door. I jolted up and saw several men rushing in.
"Who are you?" I exclaimed in surprise.
No one answered. One man strode over, grabbed my neck, and covered my mouth and nose with a damp cloth.
A sweet, pungent smell filled my nostrils. I struggled desperately but inhaled more ether. My head felt heavier, and I blacked out, knowing nothing.
My head was dizzy and heavy.
After what felt like an eternity, I groggily woke up, my head pounding. I looked around and found myself lying in an elaborately decorated bedroom, with a faint sweet fragrance in the air.
Where am I? Why am I here?
Suddenly, I heard voices next door. I cautiously got out of bed and pressed my ear against the wall.
My hearing seemed much better than before; I could hear everything clearly.
"Mr. Gongchai, I have prepared the person you requested," a flattering voice said. "Guaranteed to satisfy you."
A heavily accented voice spoke up, "Very good. As long as I'm satisfied, I promise to handle what you want me to do properly."
"Thank you, Mr. Gongchai. Sir, she's next door, please."
The two approached my room. I was horrified and quickly lay back on the bed, pretending to remain unconscious.
The door opened, and two men entered. One was a large man with a belly like a nine-month pregnant woman. The other was a tall, thin man who looked somewhat like someone from Southeast Asia, sporting two mustache stubs.
"Mr. Gongchai, are you satisfied?" The fat man nodded and kowtowed.
Gongchai scrutinized me from head to toe, slightly squinting his eyes. "Does she have Karma Sores on her face?"
Karma Sores? I was completely confused. What are those?
"Very good." He nodded. "I'm very satisfied with this woman. After I have my fun, I'll cut off all the Karma Sores on her face to use as food to nurture my Golden Thread Gu. My Gu worms will definitely evolve again, and my power will greatly increase."
The fat man laughed, "I won't disturb you as you enjoy yourself."
With that, he clumsily left. Gongchai had an evil smile on his face, took off his coat, and walked toward me.
I felt utterly terrified.
I suddenly remembered someone—Brother Chun, Tiger Bro—who mentioned that Boss Li had some perverted clients from Southeast Asia who loved to play with deformed women. Could he be referring to this Gongchai?
And the fat man just now was the so-called Boss Li.
A chill ran down my spine. What to do? I didn't want to die.
Meanwhile, Boss Li had returned to his own room, wearing a self-satisfied smile, holding a beautiful woman in his arms, enjoying her company. It was quite pleasant.
He chuckled to himself, "As long as Mr. Gongchai takes action, those who dare to compete with him for territory, and the newly transferred Deputy Captain of the Criminal Police Unit, will all die under the Gu worms."
He imagined those people being tortured to death by the Gu worms, feeling even more proud.
At this moment, a man in a black suit strode in, leaned close to his ear, and whispered a few words. He suddenly looked startled, "Quick, take me over."
He jogged over and came to a guest room, nodding and kowtowing to the young man sitting on the luxurious sofa.
"Tang Shao, your presence at our 'Tianyun Club' truly honors us and brightens our establishment."
Tang Mingli gave him a cold glance and said, "Cut the nonsense. You took a woman today, and that woman is mine. Hand her over immediately."
Boss Li felt a chill down his spine, cautiously asking, "Who are you referring to?"
Tang Mingli snorted, "Did you take a lot of women today?"
Boss Li's hands trembled, "I don't know who Tang Shao's person is."
Tang Mingli's eyes showed anger, "This isn't something you should know. Hand her over immediately, or if she's missing a hair, you'll spend the rest of your life in jail."
Boss Li gasped, feeling constrained as he hadn't felt this frustrated since making his mark in Shan City ten years ago. But he knew that the young man before him could crush him with just a finger.
However, Gongchai wasn't someone to mess with either.
Tang Mingli narrowed his eyes dangerously, "Boss Li, are you stalling? It seems you don't take me, the eldest son of the Tang Family, seriously."
"I dare not, I dare not." Boss Li was frightened, quickly waving his hands. Between the two evils, he chose the lesser, knowing that even though Gongchai was formidable, he was just a Gu master from Southeast Asia. The Tang Family was a giant; even if he had a hundred guts, he couldn't afford to offend them.
"Tang Shao, please wait. I'll go bring the lady over." Just as he was about to leave, Tang Mingli suddenly stood up, "Don't waste time. Tell me where she is, and I'll go myself."
Boss Li didn't dare hide anything and had to say the room number. Tang Mingli dashed out like a leopard.
Boss Li wiped the sweat from his forehead, impressed by the speed. The Tang Family was indeed a family of martial artists, each member highly skilled.
He couldn't help but wonder who that ugly woman really was, and why even someone like Tang Shao was so keen on her.
