Horror Camgirl - Ch. 92: Live Stream of a Bloody Battle in the Cave

"The streamer is right. Do you all want them wandering the human world with no place to go?"

"Exactly, the streamer’s actually helping them by doing this."

All the deceased souls had been taken into the Underworld, leaving only those souls still tethered to their living bodies. The Underworld wouldn’t accept them as their physical forms remained alive. I called Xiao Lin, instructing him to come quickly and transport these souls back. Then, I turned to Tang Mingli. "Mingli, I need to go down to the cliff below. That Vengeful Ghost has been wounded twice and is now extremely weak. We need to take this chance to wipe him out completely."

"Understood," Tang Mingli replied, with no further words, accompanying me off the Ghost Bus. We climbed down the cliff face, heading toward the cave below. As we approached, an eerie stillness filled the air, and the ground was littered with the corpses of Ghost Bats.

"These Ghost Bats were raised with dense Yin energy," I explained. "Now that the Vengeful Ghost is seriously injured, he’s absorbed their Yin energy to heal himself. Apart from him, there’s no other living creature in this cave."

We ventured deeper into the cave, shining the beam from our Wolf-Eye flashlights over the floor, which was strewn with corpses, mostly just bones at this point, dating back over a hundred years.

Next to the skeletons lay broken weapons, with remnants of tattered armor still clinging to some bones. Tang Mingli exclaimed, "Could these be the long-lost bandits from back then?"

"Bandits?" I asked.

"After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, banditry was rampant in the Sichuan region. One infamous bandit leader, known as ‘Mountain Ape,’ terrorized Mountain City, committing every possible evil deed. The people of Mountain City hated him to the bone and wished they could see him dead."

"Eventually, a warlord took control of Mountain City. He couldn’t tolerate competition, so he sent troops to eliminate Mountain Ape, driving his remaining followers into the mountains. They surrounded the area for two months, intending to starve them to death."

"Two months later, the warlord’s forces entered the mountains to retrieve the bodies but found no sign of the bandits—they’d vanished without a trace. Judging from this armor, these must be those missing bandits. But rather than dying of hunger or thirst, they were murdered."

"Murdered by whom?" I asked.

Tang Mingli pointed to the knife marks on the bones. "This was the work of a martial artist, someone at the level of Transformation Strength. It must have been Mountain Ape himself. Realizing his defeat, he killed his entire gang before taking his own life."

I nodded. "So that Vengeful Ghost is Mountain Ape. No wonder his Yin energy is so powerful."

We continued forward, stepping over the remains until we reached the deepest part of the cave. Suddenly, the air grew thick with the metallic scent of blood. I frowned and squeezed through a narrow opening, where our flashlights illuminated a wide-open space about the size of a large room.

In the center of this chamber was a pool, as large as a swimming pool, filled entirely with crimson blood.

"A blood pool?" I exclaimed, startled. "Mountain Ape is recuperating in the blood pool. His recovery will be much faster. We need to hurry."

I pulled out nine small flags from my bag and handed them to Tang Mingli to set up a formation around the pool.

Tang Mingli took the flags, throwing each one out in swift succession. They flew as streaks of light, embedding securely into the rock around the pool. I formed hand seals, chanting loudly, "Nine Yang Suppresses Yin, light pierces the Dark Abyss. Thousands of gods and saints, protect my true soul. Five Celestial Demons, perish in form and spirit. By my command!"

The nine flags ignited into flames, forming a fiery barrier over the blood pool.

The blood in the pool began to bubble and boil. Suddenly, a figure shot out from the pool, covered in blood, shattering through the ring of fire and rushing toward us.

"A physical body?" I gasped. "It’s Mountain Ape’s corpse! He’s cultivated it into a Blood Corpse. Blood Corpses are immune to the Nine-Yang Suppressing Ghost Formation, impervious to weapons, and possess immense strength!"

Tang Mingli charged forward to intercept the Blood Corpse, shouting, "What’s its weakness?"

"Lightning!" I replied. "It’s vulnerable to lightning!"

Tang Mingli grimaced. "Great… like that helps! I’m no lightning user!"

I glanced at the blood pool. "In that case, we’ll have to destroy his spirit first. Mountain Ape isn’t just any bandit; he knows forbidden techniques for raising ghosts and refining corpses."

I quickly formed several more hand seals, and flames shot forth from the Nine-Yang Suppressing Ghost Formation, searing into the blood pool. The blood began to evaporate, filling the cave with a thick red mist and an agonized wail.

A ghostly figure rose from the blood, its face twisted in rage, glaring at me with resentment but unable to break through the fire’s barrier.

Just then, the Blood Corpse feinted, forcing Tang Mingli back before turning and reaching for one of the red flags, attempting to pull it free.

Alarmed, I shouted, "Mingli, stop him!"

A cold glint flashed in Tang Mingli’s eyes as he twirled his dagger, creating a whirling slash aimed at the Blood Corpse.

Clang! The dagger struck the Blood Corpse’s body, producing a sharp, metallic sound as if hitting steel. Indeed, it was immune to blades.

Tang Mingli rotated the hilt of his dagger, and suddenly a golden rune appeared along the blade, forming an ancient symbol.

With a forceful thrust, the knife pierced into the Blood Corpse’s body, and with a swift pull, severed its arm completely.

Seeing this, Vengeful Ghost let out a furious roar, tilting his head back and screaming toward the sky. His spiritual form suddenly exploded, transforming into a thick, blood-red mist.

Jiu Lingzi’s urgent voice came through my earpiece, “This Vengeful Ghost has detonated his spirit form to go all out. His power has now reached the level of a Fierce Ghost! The Nine-Yang Suppressing Ghost Formation can’t hold him anymore!”

Before his words finished, a deafening explosion rang out. Flames erupted, reducing all nine flags to ashes as the blood-red mist surged forward, racing toward me.

I turned to run, but the mist moved at an incredible speed, closing the distance in an instant.

“Don’t panic, use your essence blood!” Jiu Lingzi commanded.

I bit down hard, breaking the tip of my tongue, and spat blood toward the mist. It hissed as wisps of smoke rose from it, but it only grew more enraged and aggressive.

“It’s not working,” I said, panic creeping into my voice.

“Tongue Blood alone won’t suffice,” Jiu Lingzi replied. “Slash your left wrist and draw a talisman on your chest with your blood!”

Without hesitation, I drew a dagger, slashed my wrist, then tore open my shirt and quickly sketched a talisman with my blood.

Meanwhile, the blood mist surged right up to me. Just then, the strange symbol on my chest emitted a dazzling beam of golden light, blasting straight into the mist.

The mist let out agonizing screams, writhing in mid-air. Finally, with a loud pop, it burst like a balloon, dissipating into nothingness. However, a thin wisp of black smoke lingered, slipping into my nostrils.

My legs gave way, and I collapsed to the ground. I quickly pulled out a Small Peyuan Pill and swallowed it.

At that moment, the Blood Corpse on the other side suddenly froze in place, as if someone had pressed its off switch.

Tang Mingli stepped forward with his short blade and decapitated it in one swift motion. The Blood Corpse collapsed, dissolving into a pool of blood.

“It’s over,” I let out a long sigh of relief. “Finally, it’s over.”

Tang Mingli lifted me into his arms, carrying me out of the cave.

In the Live Stream Room, viewers were going wild with excitement.

[“Streamer, thank you for avenging my son. Here’s a Silver Crown as a token of my gratitude.”]

[“Thank you, streamer. My family doesn’t have much, but here’s a Crown as a small thank-you.”]

[“My parents nearly broke down after my brother’s death, but watching your stream today helped them find closure. Here’s a Golden Crown from all of us.”]

[“Ahhh, Tyrant’s princess carry is so hot! I wish he’d carry me like that too!”]

[“Hey, the person above, can you not ruin the solemn atmosphere with your fangirling?”]

As we exited the cave, the Yin energy hanging over the cliff gradually dissipated, revealing the first rays of dawn. I turned off the Live Stream Room and took another Rejuvenation Pill, instantly recovering to full health.

“Mingli, you can put me down now,” I said.

“No,” he replied firmly. “You’ve exhausted your energy. If you recover too quickly, Xiao Lin and the others will get suspicious.”

He had a point.

But... something felt off.

With a slight smirk tugging at his lips, Tang Mingli carried me beyond the cliff’s edge. Xiao Lin rushed up to us, relief flooding his face. “Thank goodness you two are okay. That was one nerve-racking live stream! Who could have known there was another Blood Corpse down there? Too bad our branch’s Thunder-type Ability User was out of town. Otherwise, I’d have called him to assist.”

Feigning weakness, I forced a smile and asked, “How are the wandering souls?”
