Horror Camgirl - Ch. 159: Collecting the Spoils of War

My body temperature was dropping rapidly, and I felt as if my blood was about to freeze. He frowned slightly, and suddenly began to take off his clothes.

Wait, what is he doing?

Don't tell me he’s planning to warm me up with body heat like they do in TV shows?

That’s so clichΓ©—and besides, it doesn’t even really work, does it?

He took off his shirt, lifted me up, and held me in his arms. I had no strength to resist.

He wrapped us both in the blanket and whispered in my ear, "Don't move. I’m going to use my Inner Strength to dispel the cold."

Then he took off my shirt, leaving only my undershirt, and held my hands in his, pressing our palms together before transferring a thread of Inner Strength into my body.

I didn’t know what kind of technique he cultivated, but it was definitely of the most fiery and yang nature. As soon as that Inner Strength entered my body, I felt a soothing warmth spread through my meridians.

I let out a soft moan and moved slightly. He spoke up, "Don't move. I'm no gentleman."

His voice was a bit hoarse, and it scared me into full awareness. My body went stiff, and I dared not make a single movement.

He continued to channel his Inner Strength into my body. My Spiritual Power gathered his Inner Strength, circulating it within my dantian, refining it into something even purer, and then sent it back into his body through our clasped hands.

He noticed it too, a hint of surprise crossing his face.

After four full hours, I finally felt the chill within me slowly receding. My meridians, muscles, and even my flesh seemed as if they had been thoroughly cleansed, becoming stronger and more resilient.

I raised my head to look at Yin Shengyao. After a moment of hesitation, I said, "I'm okay now. Can you let me go?"

He seemed a bit reluctant, but eventually he released me. I quickly wrapped myself in a blanket and backed away to the side.

I acted like I was avoiding a snake, which made him frown with displeasure. "I’ve boiled some water. You should wash up," he said.

I finally understood why we had taken our clothes off—both of us had broken into a foul sweat. If we had stayed clothed, our clothes would have been completely soaked.

The situation was really too awkward for both of us.

He turned his back, and I quickly washed myself off with a towel. Then it was his turn. He didn't shy away at all—his well-defined muscles and tanned skin seemed to be glowing with a faint light under the snowy reflection.

I felt my cheeks heat up and quickly turned away. "Thanks for helping me today," I said.

He replied, "No need to thank me. I benefited a lot too."

Was he referring to the fact that my dantian had refined his Inner Strength and returned it to him?

"Hehe, little girl, that’s what’s called 'dual cultivation,'" whispered Cloud Fairy’s voice in my ear, leaving me utterly speechless. Oh no—I just realized that I never turned off the live stream.

So… did everyone watching just see all of that?

No, no, no—how embarrassing!

"Little girl, don’t be shy. I’ve lived for so many years—what haven’t I seen?" Cloud Fairy chuckled. "Speaking of which, this reminds me of an old lover of mine. Sadly, his cultivation wasn't strong enough, and he used up his lifespan many years ago, entering the cycle of reincarnation again. He used to play 'High Mountains and Flowing Water' so beautifully. I wish I could hear him play it one more time."

With that, she went offline, presumably to reminisce about her old lover. I glanced at the gift she left me—a prescription for Peony Essence Dew, intended for women to use… down there. No matter how intense things got the night before, applying a bit of it afterward would restore everything, leaving one feeling refreshed and vigorous by morning.

Cloud Fairy had even made a note that it also had beauty-enhancing and tightening effects.

I was exasperated—who needs this?! Senior, I think you've completely misunderstood something here!

"Have you recovered?" he asked. "We should go gather the spoils of war before anyone else beats us to it."

I nodded, got dressed, and went with him to Wolong Pool, only to find Mr. Park with a group of people trying to carve up the black jiao, clearly aiming to get its gallbladder.

My face darkened, and I shouted, "Stop!"

Everyone froze, turning to look at us. A flash of malice crossed Mr. Park's eyes—he probably hadn’t expected us to still be alive.

Yin Shengyao slowly stepped in front of me, his gaze cold as it swept over the crowd, finally landing on Mr. Park. "This black jiao was killed by us. You have ten minutes to leave immediately."

Mr. Park had been too busy running for his life before and hadn’t witnessed our battle with the black jiao, so he had no idea how strong we really were.

He wore a cold expression, full of disdain. Ever since he arrived in China, wealth and power had naturally attracted people trying to curry favor with him. He had always been arrogant, and had always looked down on the Chinese, so he became even more conceited.

He let out a cold snort and said, "Did you kill it? Who saw it? Besides, this giant snake is definitely a protected animal. You know it's illegal to hunt protected species, right?"

I laughed out of frustration and said, "And what exactly are you doing right now?"

Mr. Park replied coldly, "I'm collecting the remains of a protected animal for scientific research. If you don't leave now, I'll call the police."

Since coming to China, many local areas had bent over backwards to attract investment, constantly flattering him. Whatever he said, the local government took care of it immediately. He firmly believed that the authorities would side with him this time too.

Yin Shengyao sneered, "Did you forget? There’s no signal here."

Mr. Park paused, narrowing his eyes slightly. He had already developed a murderous intent. Since there was no signal, killing one or two people and dumping them into the lake would be unnoticed. Who knew how many herb diggers had died in these mountains every year?

He stepped back two paces and shouted something in Korean to the people with him. He had brought a lot of men with him. Originally, this group had been sent to another part of the mountain to find a different spiritual plant, but he had run into them while descending and brought them back with him, planning to kill the Black Flood Dragon and take it back to his country for research.

This kind of exotic beast was absolutely a treasure.

All of his men raised their guns and fired a barrage of shots at us. Yin Shengyao grabbed me, turning around to leap behind a large boulder. When they had emptied their magazines, Yin Shengyao kicked the boulder.

The boulder flew up suddenly, smashing fiercely toward the group.

Everyone immediately scattered in all directions to dodge. Yin Shengyao said to me, "Stay here." He then charged out, weaving between the attackers with an eerie, almost supernatural movement.

Wherever he passed, someone fell—arterial sprays marking each fatal blow.

This was truly "Ten steps, one kill. Walk a thousand miles, leave no one behind."

He moved through them, killing as he went. The men fired wildly in panic, but he moved like a blur, cutting through their carotid arteries in an instant.

Five minutes.

It took just five minutes.

All eight of Mr. Park’s men lay dead on the ground.

Mr. Park was stunned, his eyes bulging out of his head.

"You, you’re... a martial artist?" He began to tremble. "What level are you?"

Yin Shengyao said nothing. Mr. Park swallowed nervously and stammered, "A Bright Strength expert? No, it can’t be… An Inner Force master? Or… could you be a Transformation Strength master?"

Yin Shengyao slowly walked toward him. Mr. Park's legs were trembling. "You... you can't kill me. My family has a Core Strength master. If you dare to kill me, he will definitely come for you!"

I cursed in my mind: idiot. If you hadn’t said that, you might have had a chance to live. But now that you said it, who would let you go? Let you bring a Core Strength master back for revenge?

Yin Shengyao had already reached him. Mr. Park stumbled, falling to the ground, his entire body trembling like a leaf. "You said… you said earlier you’d give me ten minutes. It hasn’t even been ten minutes yet."

"I’ve changed my mind," Yin Shengyao said, as he reached out and grabbed Mr. Park by the neck, lifting him high into the air. He watched as Mr. Park’s face turned red, then purple, before squeezing slightly.

A cracking sound—bone snapping. He died instantly.

Yin Shengyao casually tossed Mr. Park’s body to the ground, pulled out a handkerchief, and wiped his hands clean. Then he said, "That Corpse Dissolving Water of yours, get it out and use it."

"How did you know I have Corpse Dissolving Water?" I asked in surprise, "Could it be that night…?"

"If you don't dissolve the corpses soon, we’ll have to kill more people if anyone else comes," he cut me off.

I gritted my teeth and pulled out the Corpse Dissolving Water, using it to dissolve the bodies one by one. Yin Shengyao then extracted the gallbladder from the snake and gave it to me.

I stored the gallbladder away, and then we worked together to divide the snake meat into sections, tying it up with rope and burying it in the snow to freeze. Naturally, we each took half of the snake skin. He said he’d have it made into fitted leather clothing once we got back, which would be bulletproof.

We then searched Mr. Park's vehicle and found a suitcase. Inside, we found numerous neatly arranged jade boxes—all filled with spiritual plants dug up from Changbai Mountain.
