Horror Camgirl - Ch. 68: Treating Lu Shao
Now that the conversation has reached this point, I have nothing left to say; after all, I haven't paid yet.
I coldly sneered, “So Mr. Li does business with integrity? Is this what you call integrity?”
His face flushed red and pale, showing signs of anger. I cast a cold glance at Lu Qilin and strode out.
The short old man smiled at Lu Qilin, saying, “Boss Lu, don’t let some unworthy people ruin your mood. Come, take a look at the goods.”
Unworthy?
I bit my lip, unable to swallow this grievance.
“Fine, let him take a good look,” I said with a cold smile. “It’d be best to find him some tonics; he’s in urgent need of them.”
Lu Qilin's face turned beet red, and the short old man suddenly felt extremely awkward, cursing, “What do you know, you little girl? Do you have any manners?”
I gave Lu Qilin a bland look and said, “Am I speaking nonsense, or can I see his symptoms clearly? He knows them himself. Is his wind gate and Da He not dark purple? Does he not feel unbearable pain every night from eleven to one?”
Lu Qilin suddenly changed expression.
Having said that, I quickened my pace and left the small courtyard.
Let him take the medicine; in a few days, he will come to me, begging to take it back.
The short old man forced a smile and said to Lu Qilin, “Mr. Lu, don’t listen to her nonsense. What does a little girl know?”
A glint flashed in Lu Qilin's eyes.
I returned home and cultivated for two days. On the morning of the third day, there was a knock at the door.
I smirked; he finally came.
I put on my hat and mask, opened the door, and there stood Lu Qilin, followed by a shrewd young man holding a box of medicinal herbs. He looked like Lu Qilin's assistant.
“Madam Yuan?” Lu Qilin said politely. “I am Lu Qilin from the Jinling Lu Family. I apologize for intruding and hope you can forgive me.”
His formal speech was quite uncomfortable to hear.
I replied coolly, “What brings you here, Mr. Lu?”
Lu Qilin said, “I came to apologize for what happened the other day. This box of precious traditional Chinese herbs is my humble offering as an apology.”
I remained indifferent, “Mr. Lu hails from a prominent family. I’m just an ordinary person, unworthy of your apology.”
Lu Qilin maintained a serious and sincere attitude, saying, “Madam Yuan, I am afflicted by a terrible illness. In my desperation for medicine, I disregarded business etiquette and took those precious herbs from you. I hope you can forgive me this once, considering I am a patient.”
I felt my heart soften. It was rare to see someone from a distinguished family be so respectful.
“Please, come in.” I invited them in and poured a cup of tea for each of them. Though it was just regular green tea, I had purified it with Spiritual Energy, making it particularly sweet and fragrant, and beneficial for one's health with prolonged consumption.
Lu Qilin took a sip, and his eyes instantly brightened.
“Madam Yuan, you diagnosed my condition at a glance. May I ask if you are a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner?” he inquired.
I answered, “I am not a doctor; I have only learned some medical skills from my master for a few years. I do not have a medical license. If Mr. Lu is concerned, please feel free to leave.”
Lu Qilin gave a bitter laugh, saying, “In the past year, I have consulted countless famous doctors and consumed numerous precious herbs, all to no avail. I haven’t even found the cause of my illness. I even consulted a shaman, but with no results.”
I sighed inwardly; for a man, being unable to perform would be the greatest blow.
“I’ll take your pulse first,” I said.
He extended his hand, and I placed my fingers on his pulse, injecting a trace of Spiritual Energy into him and circulating it through his body, just as I had expected.
Lu Qilin became a bit agitated: “Madam Yuan, have you found the cause of my illness?”
I nodded and asked, “Did you encounter an attack about a year ago?”
He was startled: “A year ago, I attended a business summit where a man charged in and attacked me, claiming he had bought stocks in my company. When the stocks plummeted, he lost his fortune.”
I asked, “Did he punch you in the waist?”
Lu Qilin shivered: “Yes, he punched me, but it wasn’t hard. I didn’t think much of it. Could it be...?”
“This person is a Martial Artist,” I replied, “and a master of Dark Strength. He sealed your meridians with Inner Strength, causing your vital energy to stagnate. Right now, you’re unable to engage in sexual activity. If this continues for a few more years, your kidneys will fail, and the consequences will be dire.”
Lu Qilin was alarmed and quickly asked, “Madam Yuan, is there any way to cure this?”
“It can be treated now,” I said, “but...”
Lu Qilin nodded to his assistant, who promptly presented the medicinal box.
“Madam Yuan, in addition to the herbs you selected, there is also an eighty-year-old Ginseng and a ninety-year-old He Shouwu, along with several other herbs over fifty years old. Are you satisfied with this?”
I examined the contents carefully and nodded with satisfaction: “That’s enough. Please have your assistant guard the door outside; no one is to enter.”
The assistant appeared unremarkable but was actually a Special Forces soldier. Though he wasn’t a Martial Artist, he was still incredibly formidable.
Lu Qilin nodded to his assistant, and once he left, I rolled up my sleeves. “Take off your clothes.”
He paused for a moment, his ears reddening slightly, but seeing my open demeanor, he entered the bedroom and removed his clothes, emerging only in his shorts.
I glanced at him and felt myself blush; his physique was surprisingly toned.
I removed my hat and mask, as the brim was too low and obstructed my view.
Upon seeing my face, he froze, his gaze somewhat dazed.
“Ahem,” I coughed lightly twice, and he quickly regained his composure, looking somewhat uncomfortable.
I felt a bit awkward too; my lips twitched slightly as I stepped forward, swiftly poking a pressure point on his chest. He gasped as a rush of energy flowed into his chest. I continued to press several acupoints on his body, infusing my Spiritual Energy.
My movements were quick and fluid, as if I had practiced for many years. I was grateful for my prior training in basic martial arts and the cultivation of my Spiritual Energy; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to apply my knowledge effectively.
After pressing the last acupoint, I delivered a punch to his sea of qi, breaking the Inner Strength seal on his meridians with a loud crack, and he immediately felt a wave of relief.
Once the stagnant vital energy was cleared, his body inevitably reacted. I wiped the sweat from my forehead and averted my gaze as his skin turned red, his face blushing like a tomato, followed by a rush of joy.
For the past year, he had been unable to lift his head, feeling like a cripple. Many beautiful women had thrown themselves at him, but he could only turn them away with a grim face. Now he could finally hold his head high again.
“Go clean yourself up,” I instructed.
He then noticed that oil was seeping from his pores, a foul smell reminiscent of pickled vegetables that had fermented for a month.
His face reddened further as he went to the bathroom to wash up. When he returned, I had already cleaned and dried his clothes. He still had a red face: “Thank you.”
Perhaps due to the prolonged stagnation of vital energy, a certain part of him remained stubbornly erect. I chose to ignore it, handing him a written prescription, saying, “Go home, prepare three doses of medicine, take them for three days, and then rest for half a month. You will be cured.”
Lu Qilin nodded and fled as if escaping a disaster. His assistant, seeing that his hair was still wet, clearly from just showering, paused for a moment before revealing a knowing expression.
“Sir, is your health restored?” he asked meaningfully.
Lu Qilin nodded, glancing back at my door with a deep gaze, a faint smile appearing at the corners of his mouth. Lu Qilin misunderstood the situation, feeling even more certain.
Meanwhile, I was unaware of the misunderstanding and was inspecting the box of herbs. The eighty-year-old Ginseng looked quite good; although it couldn’t compare to the one True Lord Zhengyang had given me before, it was still worth a lot.
I had refined several Peyuan Pills, and while consuming them alongside my cultivation, I found that my progress had indeed accelerated. I had only just entered the first level, but I was gradually approaching the threshold of mid-level.
From the day after I treated Lu Qilin, he specifically sent his assistant to bring me flowers every day, always different. I refused every single one and had him take them all back.
