Horror Camgirl - Ch. 110: Who Dares to Touch Me

Even though I’m not at the level of Transformation Strength, facing five Dark Strength experts at once is far beyond my capabilities right now.

The others inside the pharmacy noticed the tension and quietly slipped away, even the shopkeeper retreated into the back room.

I narrowed my eyes slightly, “Who are you people?”

“Alchemist Association,” the leader announced loudly. “Madam Yuan, please come with us.”

I glanced at the black SUV parked outside, smirked, and discreetly opened the live stream room labeled “sky.”

I got into the car, flanked by two Dark Strength experts on either side. I smiled faintly, “Quite the entourage. It seems the Alchemist Association values me highly.”

These martial artists remained stern and silent as the vehicle drove all the way to a Jiangnan-style garden on the outskirts of the city, which looked like a private estate.

Following a woman dressed in a cheongsam, I entered the main hall. It resembled the grand halls of wealthy families in ancient TV dramas, complete with an inscribed plaque hanging from the beams. Beneath the plaque sat an old man in his seventies, his beard reaching down to his chest, dressed in a traditional Republic of China-style tunic.

On either side of the hall were four armchairs, with only four occupants—three men and one woman—all appearing in their sixties or seventies. Some wore traditional tunics, while others dressed in Zhongshan suits. The elderly lady wore a dark green cheongsam, exuding a refined aura.

Huang Luzi muttered, “Are these people the high-ranking members of the Alchemist Association? Even the most senior among them is just 120 years old. The skills of modern alchemists are deteriorating—they can’t even craft a proper Longevity Elixir.”

I sighed inwardly. Of course, they can’t compare to you, Master. If Huang Luzi truly was the founder of the Medicine Guild, then he’s a Song dynasty man who’s lived for over a thousand years—practically a deity!

No wonder he referred to that 120-year-old white-bearded man as a “youngster.”

The old man raised his head and spoke with authority, “Are you Yuan Junyao?”

I nodded, “You must be the senior members of the Alchemist Association. My apologies for not recognizing you.”

“Hmph.” A chubby old man on the right snorted coldly. His flesh jiggled beneath his deep-blue Tang suit as he sneered, “What respect do you have for our association?”

I glanced at him and asked, “What do you mean by that, sir? I don’t quite understand.”

“Don’t understand?” The chubby old man glared. “We kindly sent representatives to invite you, but you refused. Fine, but why did you poison our people?”

I let out a chuckle, “So that’s what this is about. Let’s clear this up then. That Wan Zhongyin sent people to kidnap my brother and force me to join your Alchemist Association. Were you all aware of that?”

The chubby old man retorted angrily, “Zhongyin saw that your brother was gravely ill and wanted to bring him to our headquarters for treatment. How could you not appreciate that?”

I laughed coldly, “And may I ask your name, sir?”

“This is Councilor Luo Dewan,” explained the elderly man in the Zhongshan suit across from me with a friendly demeanor.

“Councilor Luo,” I said, “tell me, who would take a patient away without the consent of their family? Is that treatment or abduction?”

“You—!” Luo Dewan was about to argue further, but the white-bearded elder at the head of the hall intervened, “Enough, Old Luo. Let’s get to the point. Madam Yuan, what poison did you use on that young Wan?”

I smiled, “Mr. Wan claimed he could eventually break my poison, so he refused to ask me for an antidote. I was simply accommodating his wishes.”

Luo Dewan’s fiery temper flared up again, his eyes bulging as he was about to curse. The white-bearded elder raised a hand to stop him and said gravely, “Madam Yuan, if you hand over the formula and antidote, we can let the poisoning matter slide.”

“Huang Luzi, your disciples and followers are truly cunning,” came Huang Shan Jun’s voice, indicating he had just finished his closed-door practice.

“Hmph, Huang Shan Jun, stop with your snide remarks. Your so-called Huangtian Sect has no future either,” retorted Huang Luzi.

I was speechless; these two old men couldn’t help but bicker whenever they met.

“President Peng,” Luo Dewan quickly interjected, “if we don’t pursue the matter of poisoning, where will our association’s reputation go? How can we maintain our standing?”

President Peng declared resolutely, “I will bear the consequences of this matter.”

I looked directly at the white-bearded elder, “Sorry, President Peng, but I won’t hand over the formula.”

President Peng’s expression darkened. Luo Dewan snapped, “President Peng, you see? She’s completely ungrateful! If that’s the case, why waste words on her? Just seize her, take her back, and throw her into the ice-water pit until she talks!”

Huang Shan Jun continued berating Huang Luzi: “Look, look, what kind of apprentices have you raised? This is outright robbery.”

Huang Luzi’s face turned a bit red with embarrassment and he turned to me, saying, “Girl, go ahead and fight back! If you do well, I’ll reward you generously!”

I silently thought to myself, “No rush, let’s take our time.”

President Peng, in a calm manner, said, “Old Luo, how many times have I told you? This is a society governed by law. Stop resorting to violence. Times have changed.”

Luo Dewan snorted and fell silent.

Though President Peng appeared kind, the sharpness in his eyes was as cold as a knife. “Madam Yuan,” he said, “if you don’t hand over the poison formula and antidote, I’ll have no choice but to turn you over to the police.”

I silently stared at him. He continued, “You’ve poisoned someone, that’s a crime. The police handling the case is only natural, no one can argue with that. Sigh, young lady, you’re still so young, in the prime of your life. The people locked up in prison are ruthless and vicious. If you get thrown in there, how long do you think you’ll survive?”

Huang Shan Jun, full of righteous indignation, shouted, “I’ve never seen such shameless people! If this were one of my own disciples, I’d jump down and slap them to death!”

Huang Luzi panicked: “Girl, hurry up and take out the iron plaque I gave you! Let’s see if they still have the guts to frame you!”

No need to rush, I wasn’t done playing yet.

I kept my composure and replied casually, “President Peng, you’ve scared me. I definitely don’t want to go to jail. If I hand over the formula and antidote, will you truly let me go?”

President Peng stroked his long beard and said, “Besides that, you’ll need to join our association. It’s a good thing for you—going forward, with us backing you up, no one will dare to bully you. We’ll always stand up for you.”

I rubbed my chin thoughtfully. “So... President, which formula do you think I should offer as my membership fee?”

A glimmer of cunning flashed in President Peng’s eyes, and the other four board members looked satisfied.

In their hearts, they thought: President Peng is truly brilliant. With just a few words, he’s made her surrender without a fight.

After thinking for a while, President Peng said, “For your membership fee, how about using your healing medicine? Its effects are similar to our healing pills but even better. We could study your formula and improve our own—it would be a contribution to the art of alchemy.”

Huang Shan Jun shouted again, “If you want to see shamelessness, this is it! I thought I was shameless in my younger days, but today I realize I’ve been outdone by a youngster.”

Huang Luzi was losing his mind: “I can’t stand this anymore! Girl, if you don’t act now, I’m done watching your livestreams!”

Yin Changsheng interjected, “What are you all fussing about? Miss Yuan has her own plans.”

The elderly gentleman in the traditional Chinese suit, who had been kind and pleasant before, spoke up: “You could also use other formulas to exchange for points. With points, you can redeem other elixirs and prescriptions. That would be beneficial for you too.”

I nodded and then lowered my head, thinking for a moment. Finally, I said, “Everyone, I’ve thought it over carefully. I... still won’t be joining.”

Luo Dewan angrily slammed the table and stood up. “You’ve been toying with us!”

The others wore furious expressions, and even the usually composed President Peng had a hint of anger in his eyes.

The elderly lady in the cheongsam snapped, “You little girl, how arrogant can you be?”

The gentle old man in the Chinese suit shook his head. “Ah, still too young.”

President Peng coldly said, “Since you’re this ungrateful, there’s no need for me to be polite. Guards, seize her and send her to the police station!”

A few experts with Dark Strength skills rushed in like lightning, reaching out to grab me.

With a flick of my wrist, the iron plaque appeared in my hand: “Let’s see who dares touch me!”
