Horror Camgirl - Ch. 113: Trading Her for a Divine Weapon
I was quite interested in that specimen, so Tang Mingli contacted the collector. We arranged to visit his place the next morning. However, when the agreed time came, we couldn’t reach him on the phone no matter how many times we tried.
The collector’s name was Li Yuxiang, a well-known figure in the collector’s circle in Shan City. He lived in a villa in the northern part of town.
We drove straight to the villa. Tang Mingli knocked on the door, and after a long while, it creaked open just a sliver, revealing a pale face.
“Mr. Li?” Tang Mingli asked, “My last name is Tang. We arranged to view that ghostly specimen.”
Li Yuxiang opened the door wider and said, “Come in.”
As soon as I stepped inside, I was utterly stunned.
The interior was nothing like an ordinary villa. Every wall, shelf, and table was covered with various antiques. Along the eastern wall, there was a row of glass jars filled with organs preserved in formaldehyde.
I said, “Mr. Li, as we discussed earlier, I’d like to do a live stream. Is it okay if I start now?”
Li Yuxiang nodded, “Go ahead anytime.”
I opened the live stream room and panned the camera around, letting the viewers see the entire room.
[Comment Section:]
Holy crap, even though the streamer gave us a heads-up, I’m still shocked. Look at those bloodstained knives and organs. You’d think this collector was some sort of psycho serial killer!
Living in a place like this, how are you not terrified at night?
Respect to this collector. How thick-skinned must you be to admire this stuff while eating?
Imagine doing something naughty surrounded by these things…
Yikes, that actually sounds kinda thrilling.
I asked, “Mr. Li, could you introduce some of your collections?”
Li Yuxiang pointed to an axe hanging on the wall, saying, “This was used by the New Orleans Axeman; it killed a total of six people.”
He then gestured to a glass jar on the table, “This is said to be a tooth from Jack the Ripper, found on the shoulder of his second victim.”
Next, he picked up a sharp knife with dark brown stains on the blade, “Seventy years ago, in Zhonghai City, a housewife used this knife to kill her husband and two children.”
[Comment Section:]
I think this collector got scammed.
Right? That whole Jack the Ripper tooth thing is nonsense. I’ve read tons of books about him, and this is the first time I’ve heard of him leaving a tooth behind.
Attention collectors with more money than sense! I have a knife from 800 years ago that a noblewoman used to kill her husband. Interested?
The comment section was full of mocking remarks, but Li Yuxiang was completely oblivious and continued his enthusiastic introduction. Clearly, these items were his pride and joy.
“Mr. Li,” I politely interrupted, “can we take a look at that specimen now?”
“Of course,” Li Yuxiang replied. “Follow me.”
He led us into a small room. As soon as he opened the door, a cold gust of Yin Qi hit me, making the hair on my neck stand on end.
This room was dimly lit with only one lamp covered by a blue shade, which made the atmosphere even more eerie.
“All the items in this room are the most wicked,” Li Yuxiang said with excitement. He pulled out a book, and to my shock, its cover was made of human skin. “This book was purchased from abroad, written over a thousand years ago. The cover is made from the skin of a living person, and it’s filled with spells only witches can understand.”
As soon as he set the book down, the comment section exploded with messages.
[Comment Section:]
Did I just see that wrong? I swear the face on the cover moved.
You’re not imagining it—I saw it too. The face… it smiled!
Warning: High-energy zone ahead! Non-combat personnel, please evacuate!
I didn't notice anything strange, but Li Yuxiang dug beneath a table and pulled out a large cardboard box. When he opened it, a bizarre corpse lay before us.
The corpse was only about three feet long, shorter than an average five-year-old, but its head was abnormally large. Its eye sockets were deeply sunken, with two long teeth protruding from its lips. The bald head was studded with densely packed silver needles.

Oh my god, that ghostly creature looks so creepy.
So this is the fabled Demon Child.
But what exactly is a Demon Child?
Unlike normal babies, who reincarnate through the Six Realms of the Underworld, a Demon Child is born when a vengeful ghost, through a twist of fate, inhabits the womb of a pregnant woman. It becomes a creature that is neither human nor ghost. Such monsters are abominations, often dying during childbirth. If one is born alive, it’s a harbinger of doom, destined to bring calamity wherever it goes.
"Wow, the folks ahead really know a lot!"
"Wait, look! There are only forty-eight silver needles on that specimen’s head!"
"How can you even count that clearly? A math genius in the chat!"
"If the silver needles are removed, Demon Child will resurrect! Streamer, run for it!"
However, I wasn’t paying attention to the chat. My eyes were fixed on that Demon Child. Something felt off; there seemed to be a faint scent of blood lingering in the air.
I leaned in closer and noticed a hint of red at the corner of the Demon Child’s mouth. Unable to resist, I pried his mouth open with my hands.
A strong, pungent smell of blood wafted out. I gasped and turned to Li Yuxiang. “What did you do?”
Li Yuxiang’s face was flushed with excitement, his eyes bloodshot. “The Demon Child is alive! He’s really alive! Hahaha! You all laughed at me for buying a house full of junk, but now you see, my collection is the real deal!”
Tang Mingli quickly positioned himself in front of me. We cautiously backed away, accidentally bumping into a coffin standing against the wall. Its lid silently slid open, and a corpse toppled out.
I glanced down and was instantly horrified.
The corpse... it was Li Yuxiang’s!
I turned back to the crazed Li Yuxiang. He was actually a ghost!
The entire house was filled with such intense ghostly energy that it had completely masked the presence of this newly dead spirit.
Li Yuxiang’s corpse was a gruesome sight, as if it had been gnawed on by a wild beast, leaving it a bloody, mangled mess.
“You actually used your own flesh to feed the Demon Child?” I gritted my teeth. “You’re a real sicko!”
"Streamer, if he weren’t a freak, would he be collecting so much creepy stuff?"
"Oh man, that just scared the life out of me! The collector’s already a ghost?"
"I can’t handle this anymore! Every time I watch your live stream, I almost pee myself!"
Li Yuxiang glared at us with his bloodshot eyes and growled, “You came at the perfect time. I’ll use your flesh and blood to feed the Demon Child!”
The ghostly figure inside the box suddenly opened its eyes, slowly sitting up. It turned its oversized head, tilting it slightly, and locked its gaze on us.
I felt a chill run down my spine, like I was being watched by a venomous snake.
The Demon Child actually smiled!
Splitting its wide mouth, it revealed a sinister, unnerving, and utterly terrifying grin.
Tang Mingli sprang into action. With a flick of his wrist, a short knife flew through the air, drawing a graceful arc before plunging into the box.
Yet, the Demon Child inside the box vanished.
Tang Mingli, as expected of someone who had mastered Transformation Strength, was acutely aware of the changes around him. He swiftly turned around, striking out mid-air and hitting the Demon Child, forcing it back several steps before it disappeared again.
It could turn invisible?
I immediately released my spiritual sense, locating the Demon Child within my mind. “Tyrant, seven o’clock direction!”
Tyrant pulled out the short knife from the box and thrust it in that direction. A scream echoed, followed by a burst of dark blood mist.
“It didn’t hit a vital spot!” I continued, “Three o’clock direction, it’s coming again!”
Tyrant spun around and slashed again, causing another spray of blood.
But the Demon Child seemed to be nearly invincible. No matter how many times Tang Mingli struck or slashed, he could only injure it. The wounds healed almost instantly, making it impossible to kill.
On the other hand, Tang Mingli was getting hurt, suffering multiple deep gashes.
[Viewer 8]: "This won’t kill the Demon Child, Tyrant. You have to find that forty-ninth silver needle and pin it back in to seal him again!"
I couldn’t afford to look at the chat. The more the Demon Child was cut, the faster it seemed to move. I was deeply alarmed. With this level of power, the Demon Child was definitely a Fierce Ghost!
Just as all my focus was on the Demon Child, Li Yuxiang’s ghost suddenly approached silently from behind.
[Viewer 9]: "Streamer! Watch out behind you!"
