Horror Camgirl - Ch. 79: Want to Plot Against Me? No Way!

Qin Ai called Qin Ni, and as I took a taxi to the port, I saw a group of young people laughing and walking towards a brightly lit cruise ship.

I walked over and said, "Qin Ni?"

A girl in a light long dress turned around. She looked very pretty today, with her wavy long hair cascading down her back and a diamond hairpin adorning her head. A diamond necklace graced her neck, giving her a pure and lovely appearance, just like a princess.

The boys and girls around her were all dressed in luxurious outfits, while I looked out of place in my sportswear. With a hat and mask covering my face completely, anyone who didn’t know me would think I was some suspicious person.

"Are you Madam Yuan?" Qin Ni asked impatiently, clearly irritated at being watched while out for fun.

"That's me," I nodded. "Your brother Qin Ai sent me to keep you company."

She waved her hand, saying, "Get on."

I followed her onto the ship, where a girl in a super short skirt shot a glance at me and said, "Ni Ni, your brother is really unreliable. If he’s sending someone to watch you, couldn’t he at least find someone decent?"

Qin Ni rolled her eyes and said, "He said she knows some martial arts."

The girl in the short skirt laughed and said, "So she’s a bodyguard, huh? But look at her thin arms and legs—who can she fight?"

"As long as she can handle Xiao Qiong, that’s good enough," they both laughed.

I glanced over at a young man nearby, dressed in a casual suit and looking quite handsome, with a wild look in his tousled hair.

He must be Wu Yujie.

He looked me over a few times, a disdainful smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

I had encountered such gazes many times before and didn’t take them to heart.

This really was a luxurious cruise ship. The banquet hall on the top deck even had a pool. Wu Yujie, a master at flirting, was sending flowers and cakes, even presenting a diamond necklace worth over a million, making Qin Ni's eyes sparkle with excitement, as if she were about to fall for him.

I sat in a corner, leisurely eating a slice of cake, without anyone bothering to talk to me.

Suddenly, a handsome young man walked over. I heard others calling him "Young Master Jiang."

Young Master Jiang smiled and said, "We’re playing dice. Interested in joining us?"

I was about to refuse when I saw Qin Ni also participating, which made me furrow my brow. Was this a setup to lead her into trouble?

"Sure, I’ve never played dice before. It sounds fun," I replied.

A glimmer flashed in Young Master Jiang's eyes, accompanied by a smirk that suggested something was off.

I approached the table, where a group of teenagers sat around, shaking the dice in a cup, guessing the size, and the winner could choose a loser to do something for them.

They exchanged glances, and I quietly realized that this wasn’t a game set up for Qin Ni; it was a trap for me.

The girl called Xiao Qiong shook the dice skillfully, the cup swirling like magic, before slamming it onto the table.

My hearing was better than others', allowing me to clearly catch the sound of the dice moving inside, but I wasn’t familiar with the game and couldn’t guess the numbers.

In the first round, I lost.

Qin Ni won and fixed a malicious gaze on me. "Madam Yuan, I want you to take off your mask."

I glanced around; everyone was watching me, eager for a laugh.

"Hee hee, she’s always wearing a mask; does she have something strange on her face?" someone whispered to their companion.

"Maybe she has a huge birthmark or a face full of acne, like the surface of the moon," another one chimed in.

I paused for a moment before slowly taking off my mask.

As it came off, everyone displayed looks of disbelief, staring intently at my face.

Wu Yujie and Young Master Jiang were especially affected, swallowing hard, their eyes revealing a mix of complex emotions.

I cleared my throat a couple of times, pulling everyone from their shock. "Let’s continue."

Again, it was Xiao Qiong shaking the dice. Qin Ni glanced at Wu Yujie and found him staring at me, which made her expression sour.

I listened carefully, sensing something unusual.

This time, Young Master Jiang won and cast a meaningful look at me. "Madam Yuan, please drink these five bottles of beer in one go."

The women wore expressions of schadenfreude, while the men had a more sinister look in their eyes.

I expressionlessly picked up the beer and downed all five bottles one by one without changing my expression, leaving everyone agape once again.

"Let’s continue," I said.

Still, it was Xiao Qiong shaking the dice. I slightly squinted and declared, "Small."

Wu Yujie guessed it would be large. As Xiao Qiong reached to open the cup, I suddenly grabbed her wrist.

"What are you doing?" she asked, annoyed.

I smiled slightly. "You always get to shake. That’s a bit unfair. Miss Qin Ni, why don’t you do it?"

"What? Me?" Qin Ni hesitated, looking at Wu Yujie. He had a blank expression, while the others exchanged furtive glances.

"What's wrong? Are you afraid to open it?" I asked. "Is there something fishy about it?"

"No. Absolutely not," Qin Ni hurriedly replied, reaching for the cup.

Two ones and a two—small.

I won.

The expressions of the crowd turned sour. I smiled coldly, slowly sweeping my gaze over their faces. A bunch of little brats dared to set me up.

Xiao Qiong glared at me with intense hatred, wishing she could tear me apart.

With a smile, I declared, "The losers must take a shot of alcohol."

Everyone sighed with relief, but I pulled out a huge beer mug, changing their expressions completely.

"What's wrong? Can't take the loss?" I teased.

"Who says I can't take it?" Young Master Jiang suddenly stood up. "Who doesn’t know that Jiang Yun has the best gambling character?"

Saying that, he picked up the mug and gulped it down in one go.

"Good!" I clapped. "A true man."

Wu Yujie also said, "Accept defeat with grace," finishing his beer as well.

As everyone drank, a slight drunkenness settled in. They rushed to the karaoke room downstairs, and I followed, sitting quietly in a corner, drinking.

I wasn’t sensitive to alcohol, so drinking felt like sipping water; I could never get drunk.

"Madam Yuan, you should sing a song too," Young Master Jiang, tipsy, thrust the microphone in front of me. "Let’s duet on 'Love Snow' by Wang Fei."

I frowned. "I don’t know how to sing."

Young Master Jiang leaned closer, putting an arm around my shoulder. "Madam Yuan, you’re so beautiful; how could you not sing? If you can’t, that’s fine—I’ll teach you."

"Yeah, come on, sing," the others chimed in, especially Qin Ni, whose eyes seemed to grow increasingly unfriendly, as if she wished to see me make a fool of myself.

I didn’t know where my sudden boldness came from, but I grabbed the microphone.

"You are my smile from yesterday, and also my pain tonight..." I started singing softly with the music. "So happiness is blown away into loneliness. Thus, loneliness is locked in my eyes..."

The once-loud karaoke room fell silent, everyone quietly listening to my singing. For a moment, it felt like the whole world was left with just my voice.

At that moment, I had no idea someone was outside the room, quietly listening.

After finishing one song and moving into the next, everyone still stared at me in silence. I placed the microphone on the table. "Who’s next?"

Everyone seemed to snap out of a trance, with Young Master Jiang being the first to stand up and clap. "Good! Very good!"

Others joined in applause, but the men were more enthusiastic while the women, especially Qin Ni, clapped half-heartedly, her face dark as if it could drip water.

They continued drinking and singing, but I felt a bit stifled and stepped outside onto the deck for some fresh air. The cold wind brushed against my face, stirring my long hair, and I felt a bit dazed.

Not long ago, I could only admire luxurious cruise ships on an old TV, and now I was standing on the deck, enjoying the night view of the Yangtze River.

It felt like a dream.

At that moment, I heard footsteps behind me—it was Young Master Jiang.

Suddenly, he reached out, leaning on the railing on either side of me, enclosing me in.

He lowered his head, his breath warm against my scalp, speaking in a sultry tone, "Madam Yuan, you’re so beautiful and sing so well. How about coming to my company? Bright Media, have you heard of it? The currently popular star, Zeng Ranran, was groomed by our company. If you’re willing to join us, I guarantee you’ll be even more famous than her."

I twitched my lips. Am I not way more famous than her?

"Sorry, Young Master Jiang, I’m not interested," I said lightly, trying to break free from his embrace, but he moved even closer, nearly pressing against my neck. "Don’t be so quick to refuse. Madam Yuan, I seem to be infatuated with you. Your face is all I can think about. Just the thought of you makes me lose control... You smell so good..."

"You’re drunk, Young Master Jiang!" I tried to push him away, but then a tall figure appeared behind him, grabbing his collar and throwing him to the ground.

Young Master Jiang shouted angrily, "How dare you touch me? Do you know who I am?"

"Get lost!" The man’s voice was icy, and his gaze was sharp. Young Master Jiang looked up and, upon meeting his eyes, felt as if a terrifying creature had locked onto him, making his scalp tingle.

"You... just you wait," he said, scrambling to his feet and limping away.

I didn’t know how to describe my feelings at that moment.

That man was actually Yin Shengyao!

Before I became strong, I didn’t want to see him at all, yet he always seemed to appear before me.
