Horror Camgirl - Ch. 80: The Arrogant Yin Shengyao
I could hardly conceal the disgust in my eyes as I lowered my head, unable to look at him.
“Why are you here?” I asked, confused.
“I have a business meeting tonight,” he replied casually.
“I thought this place was booked for the night.”
“Ha ha.” He chuckled lightly. “The Synthia Club is not a place that a few kids can just book.”
I was at a loss for words.
“And why are you here?” He stepped a little closer, and I could smell the faint scent of mint on him. It was the same scent I had caught a whiff of that night, and just the thought of it sent shivers down my spine.
“I never expected you’d enjoy being around kids like this,” his tone dripped with sarcasm. “Have you moved on? No longer interested in Tang Mingli? Who have you set your sights on, that Jiang guy who just touched you, or that Wu guy whose eyes are glued to you?”
My anger flared up. Gathering my courage, I said, “What does this have to do with you?”
Yin Shengyao stared coldly at me. I held his gaze and said, “What right do you have to criticize me? Do we know each other well? Who do you think you are to me?”
He suddenly grabbed my shoulders, startling me. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Your audacity is growing.” He tightened his grip on my chin. “Do you think just because you have a pretty face, men should pamper you and put up with you?”
“I never thought that,” I struggled free and snapped, “Sir, please have some respect and don’t touch me!”
He suddenly laughed. That smile sent chills down my spine; I felt as if in the next moment he would transform into a terrifying beast and swallow me whole.
“If you like money, I have plenty; if you want a protector, I have enough strength to keep you safe,” he said slowly.
I frowned. “What do you mean?”
He leaned down, his mouth close to my ear, and whispered, “If you want to find a man, I should be able to fill that role.”
My shoulders trembled. Just that morning, his eyes had been filled with disgust and hatred, and now he was suggesting he wanted to be my man. Ha, did he think I was some kind of escort who could be summoned at will?
Just as I was about to mock him, I suddenly saw Jiang and Wu Yujie approaching quickly, followed by two tall, muscular men—both were strong martial artists from Bright Strength.
Jiang angrily pointed at Yin Shengyao and said, “Wu, it’s him.”
Wu Yujie took a couple of steps forward, his face darkening. “Friend, why did you suddenly attack my brother?”
Yin Shengyao sneered, “I did hit him. So what?”
The crowd grew agitated. Wu Yujie didn’t expect him to be so disrespectful, and his gaze turned cold.
“It seems you want to oppose us today?” he asked through gritted teeth.
“You’re just a bunch of clueless kids. Oppose you?” Yin Shengyao scoffed. “You’re overestimating yourselves.”
“Wu, he’s too arrogant!”
“Wu, we have to teach him a lesson; otherwise, he’ll think we’re pushovers!”
Wu Yujie raised a hand to silence the crowd. He scrutinized Yin Shengyao from head to toe and said, “What’s your background? Why are you opposing my Wu family?”
“The Wu family?” Yin Shengyao smirked. “I’ve heard there’s a Wu family in Shan City, but they’re just a low-tier family. Not worth mentioning.”
Wu Yujie’s anger flared. While his family was not top-tier in Shan City, they were at least first-rate. How dare this person call them low-tier? If he didn’t teach him a lesson today, how would he continue to navigate the upper circles of Shan City?
“Since you’re the one who provoked us, don’t blame me for being ruthless,” he shouted. “Black Hawk, Black Panther, break one of his legs!”
“Wait.” I shouted. “Wu, don’t fight him; he’s not an ordinary person.”
I was trying to warn him that Yin Shengyao was not someone to be trifled with. But the moment I spoke, he thought I was pleading for Yin Shengyao. A bitter feeling surged in my heart.
“He’s your friend?” Wu Yujie asked.
I shook my head. “No.”
“Since he’s not, you don’t need to plead for him,” Wu Yujie said coldly. “Unless he kneels and apologizes to me right now, he won’t leave this cruise ship in one piece.”
Yin Shengyao laughed as if he had heard the biggest joke. “What are you? You think I should kneel to you? Even if your father were here, he’d have to show me respect. How dare you talk to me like that?”
Wu Yujie’s eyes widened. “You’re asking for trouble; get him!”
As soon as he finished speaking, the two tall men behind him shot forward like cannonballs.
I shook my head and sighed. Wu Yujie, used to being arrogant, was about to attack someone whose background he didn’t understand in Synthia Club.
This was suicidal.
Yin Shengyao’s expression turned icy. He struck out suddenly, raising both arms and punching one of them. The man didn’t even see how he threw the punch before he was sent flying backward like a broken sack.
Everyone gasped. Wu Yujie’s expression shifted drastically. He was the heir of the Wu family, and those two men were his loyal bodyguards, having protected him for many years. They had helped him deal with countless opponents and were unbeatable.
Never had he imagined that someone would knock them away with one punch today.
He stared at Yin Shengyao in shock, anger spilling out of him. “Who the hell are you?”
“Who I am is not something you deserve to know,” Yin Shengyao replied coolly.
Wu Yujie felt a mix of shame and anger, his face flushing red. “Don’t be smug! You may be able to fight a bit, but there are countless people in my family who can fight better than you!”
Just then, a soft, seductive voice interrupted, “What’s going on here?”
A tall beauty walked in, her figure rivaling that of international supermodels. She had long, wavy hair dyed a wine red and wore exquisite makeup. A diamond necklace sparkled on her neck under the starlight.
This woman was Cynthia, the owner of the Synthia Club. Rumor had it she was the mistress of a powerful figure, with extensive connections and significant influence in Shan City. Even the mayor had to show her respect.
“Cynthia.” Wu Yujie rushed to greet her, pointing at Yin Shengyao. “This man is fighting in your club and deliberately hurting people. You must stand up for us.”
Cynthia scoffed, “Oh? What kind of justice do you want?”
Wu Yujie’s eyes glinted with determination. “Someone like him cannot be tolerated. First, we should arrest him, throw him to the bottom of the ship, and after we dock tomorrow morning, hand him over to the police.”
The crowd gasped in shock. The weather was getting colder, and the water temperature at night was very low. The bottom of the ship was cold and damp. Locking someone in the bottom of the ship overnight would be a death sentence.
I couldn’t believe how sinister Wu Yujie was.
Cynthia looked at him as if he were a fool. “You want to throw him to the bottom of the ship?”
Wu Yujie’s eyes were filled with menace. “That’s right.”
Cynthia couldn’t help but laugh. “Is this your idea, or your father’s?”
Wu Yujie froze. What did this have to do with his father?
Before he could gather his thoughts, he heard his father’s voice: “Mr. Yin, so you’re here.”
Wu Yujie froze again, turning his head. “Dad?”
Wu Yujie’s father, Wu Sunlin, looked puzzled. “Xiao Jie, why are you here too? Come, come, greet Mr. Yin.”
“I…” Wu Yujie was momentarily dumbfounded. What was happening?
Cynthia laughed coldly. “Mr. Wu, your son not only called for Mr. Yin’s blood but also wanted to lock him in the bottom of the ship.”
Wu Sunlin’s expression turned pale in shock as he shouted angrily at Wu Yujie, “Have you lost your mind? How dare you treat Mr. Yin like this?”
Wu Yujie swallowed hard. “Dad, who is he?”
Wu Sunlin felt as if he wanted to tear his son apart. After all the trouble he had gone through, he finally had the chance to meet Yin Shengyao, having been careful to flatter him in hopes of securing the agency for the Spiritual Energy liquid. Just when he saw a glimmer of hope, his son had ruined it all.
